About
Bone broth, chosen properly, run from Walthamstow.
I started making bone broth in my own kitchen because it made me feel better. This site exists so you don't have to.
How it started
A few years ago I went down a rabbit hole about gut health — collagen, minerals, the kind of slow-cooked food our grandparents made without thinking twice about it. So I started simmering a stockpot of bones, vegetables and a splash of vinegar for the better part of a day, and drinking a cup most mornings.
I noticed the difference before I could really explain it: steadier energy through the afternoon, fewer aches after long days on my feet, digestion that felt calmer. But making a proper batch takes the best part of a day, and most weeks I didn't have it.
So I started looking for who was doing it properly, so I could just buy the stuff instead.
Why we're picky about what we stock
- Long-simmered, not short-cut. We only list broths made the slow way, not stock cubes with a good marketing budget.
- Real ingredients. Bones, water, vegetables, herbs. Nothing that needs a long ingredients list to explain itself.
- Brands we've actually vetted. Every product here is one I've checked myself, not just added because it exists.
- Choice without the noise. Chicken, beef, plant-based, powders, ready-to-drink — sorted so you can find what suits you without wading through dozens of near-identical brands.
Based in Walthamstow
I run this from Walthamstow, sourcing and shipping from here — though the broth itself comes from small producers across the UK doing the slow, unglamorous work of simmering it properly. My job is finding the good ones and putting them in one place.
If you've got questions about any of the brands we stock, or just want to say hello — I read every message myself.
